Our school proudly boasts its newest addition to its infrastructure – a bank of solar panels. Placed on the roof of the classrooms on the north side of the quad, these panels will help to reduce our reliance on Eskom, to save money and, most importantly, to reduce our carbon footprint.
The cost of the panels and installation was not borne by the school. Through crowdfunding, the necessary finance was raised within three days.
We look forward to reaping the benefits as we look to the future.
